An interesting article from the Times Online Website

It just shows what we all know.

It's the same thing here in America, takes far too long.

I complained to the GP for 20 years and finally took myself to a rheumy. That's pathetic in this day and age.

I have to say that my diagnosis (in the USA) came very quickly. It took me 4 months of traveling pain symptoms before I ever contacted my GP. He went through the usual tests and when he realized he didn't know what was going on he sent me to the Rheumatologist. That took about 2 months. The Rheumatologist diagnosed me before I could finish describing my symptoms (about 2 minutes).
